Part-Time Marketing Manager

Sprout is seeking a creative Marketing Manager looking to gain skills and experience in growth and business development. Inspired by creating high-quality content, the ideal candidate should have experience working with a range of clients and stakeholders. You feel comfortable taking initiative, thrive in autonomous roles, and want to grow with a studio that has tripled its size in a short time.

The ideal candidate will be able to create thorough, yet ambitious marketing strategy, content strategy, and digital marketing plans — and execute them. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for all cross-channel execution, managing Sprout’s social media content, drafting copy, and consult on marketing work as part of a client deliverable portfolio.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfort and experience with Google AdWords, SEO/SEM, Facebook Ads, organic content, PPC ads, Instagram Ads
  • Experience with Google Analytics and KPI goal/tracking software
  • A self-managing, motivated, and entrepreneurial nature
  • Ability to manage cross-platform content: websites, newsletters, case studies, blogs, social media, and more
  • Experience with MailChimp, Hootsuite, or similar systems
  • Experience and excitement in creating engaging social media content and copy
  • Strong copy-editing skills for writing and editing client-facing content
  • Ability to maintain a strong social media presence across relevant platforms
  • Ability to think “big picture” and create short- and long-term plans reflective of business goals
  • The drive to create and maintain content calendars for multiple different channels
  • The ability to forge strong relationships with media partners
  • Willingness to wear multiple hats and take the initiative to go above and beyond
  • 1-2 years of experience
