Project Manager

Sprout seeks a creative and organized Project Manager to provide vital support in our Boston studio by managing multiple project teams and activities in order to develop and document design processes.

The Project Manager will be responsible for multiple duties including, but not limited to:

  • Manages several projects; works with the management team, key stakeholders, and clients to understand their needs, and drive projects’ delivery successfully
  • Works with cross functional teams to develop and track classic project management deliverables (schedules, status reports, resource plans, risks, issues logs, etc.)
  • Serves as a single point of client contact when multiple design teams are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
  • Manages project budgets in accordance with management expectations
  • Presents key project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, and/or project team members
  • Coaches team members through tasks, communicating expectations and company guidelines
  • Manages project timelines and ensures all relevant deadlines are met by team members
  • Analyzes and communicates issues and risks as they relate to project(s), adapting timelines as necessary while consistently updating the management team
  • Coordinates with local partners to maintain good working relationships and complete tasks
  • Performs other relevant duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1+ years experience in project management preferred
  • MUST have extensive knowledge of PM concepts and processes
  • Experience in a design firm or creative agency is a HUGE plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and effectively delegate tasks
  • Strong business acumen in project planning and management
  • Ability to work and execute sound decision-making in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency and experience with project management software
  • Must be a self-starter, driven by the ability to track and monitor success
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
