Pogoplug Mobile is the third generation of cloud-based storage devices that Sprout has designed for Cloud Engines, Inc. in San Francisco. The product combines Pogoplug’s ease of use with a fresh new look and feel. Sprout’s core goal was to deliver a minimal yet iconic design that optimized the product’s overall size and part count, and was also scalable enough to accommodate multiple SKUs at the factory level.
Pogoplug Mobile serves as a mobile cloud companion, freeing mobile devices from storage limits by allowing users to stream entire libraries of photos, music, and movies from their home computers. The device also enables users to share unlimited amounts of photos, videos, and other content from mobile devices with friends and family instantly, either through social media channels such as Facebook and Twitter or privately.
