Recap: 2025 Annual Sprout Summer Offsite

The Sprout team recently spent a few days on the coast for our Annual Summer Offsite in Ogunquit, Maine. We enjoyed a bit of R&R, and a lot of delicious food.
On Thursday, we road-tripped from Boston and kicked things off with lunch and a bleach tie-dye session. It was fun experimenting with different techniques and seeing everyone’s creations. Rain rolled in throughout the day, but it didn’t keep us inside. We enjoyed relaxing chats on the porch, played countless rounds of volleyball, and made it to the beach just in time to catch a stunning late-afternoon sunset as the skies cleared.
That evening, we continued our beloved potluck tradition with a feast of lobster, steak, and homemade dishes from the team. Major shoutout to the graphic design crew for absolutely stealing the show. Ryan O’Donnell’s buffalo chicken dip, Charles Ray’s baked mac & cheese, and Matt Guay’s horchata were crowd favorites. We wrapped up the night around the fire, debating the correct marshmallow roasting technique and the ultimate s’mores combo (still up for discussion).
On Friday, we woke up to a gorgeous, sunny day! The morning started slow and sweet with coffee + leftover horchata (trust us, it’s a must try). Some of us wandered into town for a bit of exploring, while others hit the trails for a mountain biking adventure at Mount Agamenticus.
The management team carved out some time for focused collaboration and planning as we gear up for several exciting new projects and a busy second half of the year.
In the afternoon, we made our way to Portsmouth, NH, where perfect summer weather set the scene for waterfront sushi at Surf and a relaxing end to a great trip.
Offsites are an essential part of Sprout culture, giving us the time and space to reconnect, reflect, and get inspired outside of the studio. We’re already looking forward to next year’s adventure!
