Mr. Coffee, a trusted name in brewing appliances, needed to expand its product portfolio with new models that could succeed in the high-volume consumer market. To meet this challenge, Jarden Consumer Solutions turned to Sprout to create designs that honored Mr. Coffee’s long-standing reputation for approachable, affordable coffee makers while ensuring manufacturability, consistency, and market differentiation.
Sprout’s approach was rooted in consumer insights and research-driven strategy. We set out to translate the Mr. Coffee brand into a visual language that could extend across multiple SKUs and price points. Scalability was key, ensuring that new models could be efficiently produced at volume while maintaining the quality and reliability consumers expect.
We designed four new coffee makers that married Mr. Coffee’s brand heritage with modern usability. The visual brand language we established ensured each appliance felt distinctly “Mr. Coffee” while leaving room for product-level differentiation. Every detail was optimized for high-volume production, so the appliances were not only visually consistent but also cost-effective to produce at scale.
The result was a cohesive family of appliances that reinforced Mr. Coffee’s identity while meeting the demands of large-scale consumer markets. Sprout’s work equipped the brand with scalable, insight-driven designs that streamlined product development and support long-term portfolio growth. By bridging legacy and innovation, we helped Mr. Coffee sustain its leadership in an increasingly competitive category.
