Sprout teamed up with Happy Valley Compassion Center Inc to create the naming, branding, and messaging for their chain of cultivation facilities and dispensaries throughout western Massachusetts. We started by doing multiple rounds of naming arriving at The Heirloom Collective aka THC.
We defined a brand strategy to guide creation of a 3-tier system of logotypes, monograms, and extended patterning. The solution relies on a set of typographic marks that evoke a sense of heritage, timelessness, and scientific authority. Their look and feel embody the company’s mission: To grow best-in-class, premium quality cannabis and provide safe and efficacious products for customers.
Working within a limited color palette, we leveraged typography, patterning, and messaging applications to position the company as a premium and thoughtful regional dispensary leader. Comprehensive brand guidelines directed the application of the THC logo hierarchy across apparel, packaging, and signage.
