Varna Tech Halo+
Initially, the Sprout team took on a mission to try and solve the problem of child-resistant storage for cannabis, but we developed something much bigger. Instead, we created Varna Tech, a revolution in connected storage and security. Our primary research turned us away from creating our own container solutions, and instead retrofitting onto the most commonly used solution globally – the mason jar. Our first two products, the Halo and the Halo +, are analog and digital solutions for installing our technologies onto existing mason jars and enhancing the capabilities of a mason jar exponentially.
The Halo + is App-Enabled, Bluetooth and NFC connected. Extending beyond the storage of just cannabis, this product allows the user to keep track of the location of their device, track the contents and use cases of the product, distinguish who has access to their contents, while also offering customizable accessories that provide co-branding opportunities for retail presence.
The Halo offers a lower entry cost to our connected storage system by simply being an analog solution at first. If anyone feels inclined to build their systems capabilities, the Halo offers external add-ons which tac on some of the functions provided internally through the Halo +.
Ultimately, regardless of how many of these products you own, the simple app allows you to access and track each unit independently while keeping them part of your overarching collection.
