Launch Campaign & Packaging

Founded by industrial designer Malcom Fontier, the Pakt brand creates unique, refined, and responsibly-sourced travel accessories for the environmentally-conscious traveler. In 2017, Sprout and Pakt collaborated to design and launch the Pakt One bag, which went on to crowdfund over $2 million. Pakt returned to Sprout to enlist the help of our graphic design team for the development of a visual identity and packaging system supporting their new four-piece ‘Anywhere Collection.’

In partnership with the Pakt team, we designed launch campaign graphics and visuals to elevate the Pakt brand and extend its awareness. The Anywhere Collection is designed to adapt to any travel situation through the means of a coordinated system where the individual bags support many different types of travel and vehicles. With that in mind, and the world’s excitement at the prospect for the return to travel, the campaign was inspired by a free flowing ‘journey line’ that mimics a travel route and guides the viewer through the use of design visuals and photography. Each bag is supported by individualized map textures and a pop of color bringing a playful, energetic tone to the identity while complementing the clean, minimal imagery.  

The launch campaign identity was then carried over into the package design for the collection via a range of assets. We developed a full structural packaging system including packaging inserts and custom iconography. As partners of SeaHive, plastic-free packaging is a priority and the system was designed to be as environmentally efficient and present the smallest carbon footprint possible. 

The Collection launched via Indiegogo and surpassed its goal in less than an hour. It is now available on the Pakt website.
